<p>PURPOSE:To enable a multi-tone molded item with the boundary between the tones distinct to be produced, by placing a planar heat-resistant material having a certain tone in position on a force surface, heating and compressing a molding material having a tone different from that of the planar heat-resistant material integrally with the planar heat-resistant material to be molded. CONSTITUTION:As a suitable thermosetting resin molding material is mentioned a compound type molding material containing fibers such as glass fiber that is called SNM or BMC. This molding material is previously colored to have a certain tone intended for the aimed item. The heat-resistant material has a tone different from that of the item, and, for example, can be prepared previously by compression molding the molding material under heating into a planar item that may be used as such or may be cut into a prescribed size to be used. A previously molded plate is placed on the surface of the force 1'. The heat-resistant material 3 placed on the surface of the force 1' together with a thermosetting molding material 2 is heated and compressed under conditions generally used to be integrally molded into the final multi-tone molded item.</p> |
