PURPOSE:To reduce the power consumption by providing a gate circuit inputted with the no-operation judgment output from judging circuits judging the operation/no-operation of driver circuits. CONSTITUTION:A data latch circuit 1 is constituted of multiple latch means 26-30, and it latches the data in sequence and outputs them in parallel. A shift register 5 outputs latch signals enabling the latch of latch means 26-30 and outputs a completion signal when the latch signals are completed. Operation/no- operation judging circuits 2, 4 judge the operation/no-operation of driver circuits 37, 74 at the time of the cascade connection, and the input of data to the data latch circuit 1 is prohibited in response to the completion signal or the no- operation judgment output by a gate circuit provided between an input terminal T1 and the data latch circuit 1. |
