PURPOSE: To provide an integrated optical waveguide coupler of small wavelength dependency. CONSTITUTION: In the integrated optical waveguide coupler with a mutually operating length in which two waveguides 1 and 2 are parallelly and mutually in contact with each other, it is the feature of the mutual operation length to incorporate at least one straight line part and at least one additional mutual operation length with a prescribed curvature adjacent to the straight line part.
