PURPOSE: To inhibit polymers from adhering and depositing on an inner wall of a vessel by plug welding plural vertical supports to an interior surface of an outer shell and defining a pathway surrounding an inner shell to recycle a coolant. CONSTITUTION: A reactor vessel 10 has a cylindrical outer wall, an outer vessel or an outer shell 11 made of sheet metal, the bottom is closed by a lower side hemispheric member or a dish member or a cap 12 and the top is closed by a hemispheric member or a dish member or a cap 13. A shaft 16 is provided with a blade 17 at its end, the blade is rotated to mix the contents in the reactor vessel 10. The upper side dish member (cap) 13 has an adequate opening, through which product is filled or introduced into the reaction vessel. A continuously spiral supporting body 21 surrounds an inner shell 20, extending from the inner wall surface of the outer shell 11 to the outer wall surface of the inner shell 20. The spiral supporting body 21 is spot-welded to the inner wall of the outer shell 11 along the separated portions from the peripheral surface. |
