<p>PURPOSE:To carry out vacuum deposition uniformly on the whole or the work by reversing the work at the crossing part of a pair of right and left guide rails in the treating vessel of a vacuum depositing apparatus. CONSTITUTION:Nearly cylindrical treating vessel 1 for vacuum deposition is provided with machine frame 3 which rotates and runs by driving with motor 2, and a pair of evaporation sources 4 are arranged outside frame 3. Frame 3 is composed of lower turn table 3b having central driving shaft 3a and of support frame 3c extending upward from table 3b, and a plurality of holding frames 6 each holding many works are bound to frame 3c with clasps 7 or the like. Thus, vacuum deposition is carried out while rotating and running each work in vessel 1 together with frame 3. By allowing rails 15 for guiding frames 6 to cross each other, work reversing action is performed smoothly and surely to form vacuum deposited layers uniformly on the whole work.</p> |
