PURPOSE:To freely confirm and call out the image of character pattern and to reduce the time required to create the character patterns by providing a pattern window. CONSTITUTION:As the character patterns are registered in a floppy disk device 2, a character pattern calling circuit 3 and a pattern window circuit 8 display one by one the first six characters of the character patterns registered in the device 2 in a character pattern window 19. The bit information of the character patterns in the character pattern editing region 12 is stored in a character pattern memory B6 and the bit information of all character patterns shown in a window 19 is stored in a character pattern memory A9. And, by specifying prior calling items 20 and after calling items 21 employing a mouse, the character patterns in the device 2 are displayed in a window 19. |
