PURPOSE:To shorten a time required for sorting and to attain rapid processing by executing sorting and forming a fill list only when a scanning line reaches the vertex or intersecting point of a graphic line. CONSTITUTION:When the scanning line S reaches vertexes A, C, D, a line table describing the attributes of graphic lines 40 to 44 relating to the vertexes A, C, D is formed. Then the list of intersecting points of respective graphic lines corresponding to the line table is formed. Then a sorting list arraying line numbers in the order of meeting in the advancing process of scanning from left to right is formed. The sorting list of the intersecting points is similarly formed. The fill list listing up a paint-out section is formed based upon the formed sorting list. Thus paint-out is continued up to the succeeding vertex or intersecting point in accordance with the fill list. |
