PURPOSE:To enhance the reproducibility and also dimensional accuracy at the time of lamination by placing a crude sheet for electrode catalyst layer on an electrode base material, attaching by pressure using a roll, and subjecting it to a heat treatment in a neutral atmosphere. CONSTITUTION:A crude sheet for electrode catalyst layer 35 is formed from a catalyst 37, in which a noble metal 31 is borne by a carbon catalyst bearer 32, and a fluoric resin 33. The crude sheet is placed on an electrode base material 34 and attached by pressure using a roll at a certain specified temp. The crude sheet on the base material 34 is preliminarily baked in a furnace in neutral atmosphere and subjected to a heat treatment as the regular baking process, and thus an electrode is produced. Thereby the producibility of electrode is enhanced, and also the dimensional accuracy at the time of lamination be enhanced through improvement of the film thickness controllability of the electrode catalyst layer 35. Pressure attaching with roll shall preferably be conducted at a temp. between 70-80 C. |
