PRINTING METHOD

PURPOSE:To rapidly carry out sharp printing by calculating the hue of the photographic paper corresponding to a printing candidate place to determine the printing candidate place of the min. hue irregularity and selecting the hue of a hot-melt transfer medium to be printed with respect to the average hue of the candidate place to carry out printing. CONSTITUTION:A plurality of printing candidate places P1-P4 applying printing to photographic paper P subjected to development treatment are predetermined to be stored in a memory part 2 and a scanner 3 measures the hue of the photographic paper P subjected to development treatment to send this hue data to a control part 1. The control part 1 calculated the respective hue irregularities and average hue of the photographic paper P corresponding to the printing candidate places P1-P4 stored in the memory part 2 to determine the printing candidata place of the min. hue irregularity and a printing part 4 selects the hue of a hot-melt transfer medium 5 to be printed with respect to the average hue of the printing candidata place determined by the control part 1 to print a character or image on the photographic paper P.
