PURPOSE:To shorten the time from abnormality occurrence to a countermeasure by setting an operation mode and an inspection mode for transaction and selecting the inspection mode at need if abnormality occurs. CONSTITUTION:A prepaid card is inserted into a card slot 7 and then transaction operation started. If abnormality occurs during the operation, its abnormality information is stored in the RAM 20 of a control board 2 and then the mode is switched to the inspection mode at need. The abnormality information is read out of the RAM 20 and the abnormality contents are displayed on a display board 5. Consequently, the abnormality contents can be recognized immediately and the time from the abnormality occurrence to the countermeasure is shortened. |
