<p>PURPOSE:To make piping design and field construction easy and functional from the standpoint of appearance by constituting it that a butterfly valve of a unit body performs its opening or closing and flow control, while a check valve prevents any backflow without entailing a water hammer, and attaching instruments to a pipe part. CONSTITUTION:A butterfly valve 2, a check valve 3, pipe parts 4 and 5, a flexible joint 6 and a reducer 7 are all connected to each of adjacent parts by means of a flange. The butterfly valve 2 operates a handle 8 for opening or closing and performs flow control properly at intermediate spacing. The check valve 3 attaches a spring to a disk 3a, and when a fluid is not running, the disk 3a is closed by this spring, and any backflow is prevented without entailing any water hammer. Instruments such as a temperature gage 9, a pressure gage 10 or the like are attached to the pipe part 4. The unit body 1 is solidly constituted so as to have these functions, so that it can be done very easily even in piping design and field construction.</p> |
