<p>PURPOSE:To grasp certainly a collected amount regardless of fluctuation of operating condition by calculating dust concentration in exhaust gas from light non transmitting degree outputted by a light non transmitting degree detecting means, and calculating in order the flow amount of the dust from the concentration and the flow amount of exhaust gas outputted by an exhaust gas flow amount detecting means. CONSTITUTION:Current is outputted according to the quantity of incident light transmitted into exhaust gas in a phototransistor 4b, and particulate concentration of exhaust gas is calculated from the current value by a controller 8. Each information of a temperature and an engine rotational speed is outputted in synchronism with current output according to incident light quantity of a light emitting diode 4a by a temperature gage 5 and an engine speed indicator 6, and the flow amount of exhaust gas in the vicinity of the light emitting diode 4a and the phototransistor 4b is calculated by the controller 8. Also, a particulate flow amount is calculated by product of the particulate concentration and the exhaust gas flow amount by the controller 8, and calculated in order while time-integrating it so as to find out the total amount of the passed particulate. A prescribed coefficient (collecting ratio) is multiplied thereby so as to find out the estimated value of the collected amount.</p> |
