PURPOSE:To shorten the length of a transmission case in the shaft direction by carrying out a screw processing to screw up on piston cylinders and pulley shafts, and fixing the piston cylinders directly to the pulley shafts by means of screws. CONSTITUTION:On both piston cylinders 13c and 23a and movable pulley side shaft parts 11b and 21b, screw parts 13c', 23a', 11b' and 21b' to screw up are processed, and both piston cylinders 13c and 23a are fixed directly to the movable pulley side shaft parts 11b and 21b. Thereby, by means of both a driving pulley unit 1 and a driven pulley unit 2, the length of a transmission case 4 in the shaft direction can be shortened significantly. That is, both piston cylinders 13c and 23a installed in the movable pulley side shaft parts 11b and 21b corresponding to pulley shafts can be shorten in the length of the transmission case 4 in the shaft direction by at least a nut portion, as compared with a case of being fixed by means of separate screwing up nuts.
