The headlamp washer (7) includes a nozzle holder (10) associated with means for supplying washer liquid, connected to the rod (12a) of a piston mounted so as to slide inside a cylinder (11) fixed to a part (5) of the structure of the vehicle. The cylinder (11) is placed with its axis substantially horizontal at a lower level than the headlamp (1). The nozzle holder (10) is connected to the piston rod (12a) so that it is articulated about a horizontal axis and includes, at one of its ends, a tipping member (28) intended to come into abutment, during the horizontal displacement of the piston rod (12a) towards the outside, against a part (30) of the structure (5) of the vehicle. <IMAGE>
