PURPOSE:To obtain the formed object of prescribed shape continuously and stably, while the blocking during hot shaping is prevented by a method in which the inward folded part guided always by edge rolls is used as a reference, and the other parts are shaped in order. CONSTITUTION:When the formed object A3 of the prescribed shape which has left and right one or plurality of inward folded parts (a), (b) is shaped from a fiber reinforced thermoplastic resin sheet A1, the sheet A, is folded on the upstream of formed object-shaping zone, thereby forming preliminarily at least a pair of inward folded parts (a), (b). Next while the inward folded parts (a), (b) formed by guiding said sheet to the formed object-shaping zone 5 are respectively guided by the edge rolls 8 of necessary number which are put side by side in advancing direction, prescribed hot shaping is carried out. |
