摘要 Regenerative filter system for cleaning a recirculating air stream from a solvent process, particularly for purifying an air stream from volatile halocarbons, having a reversibly operable fan (19) in a circulatory system that can by means of two isolating valves (20,21) either be opened to connect with a solvent-using process via lines (11,12) or closed off to allow for filter regeneration, a condenser (15) with a condensed liq. receiver, and a thermally regenerable first activated C filter (17), and which is novel in having a second regenerable activated C filter (18) that can be connected in series with the first filter via on/off valves (22,33) on respective feed and return lines (13,14) in order to remove solvent from air discharging to atmos., and also that the second filter (18) is thermally regenerable and connectable into a closed system circulating via the first filter (17). USE/ADVANTAGE - Combination tail gas absorber filter for removing volatile halocarbons from both the operating process vent and separately from the solvent recovery absorber shipping operations, particularly for textile dry cleaning machines.
