PURPOSE:To easily perform picture-taking by using focusing lock by instructing the action of central range-finding to a range-finding area in the center of a photographic image plane and holding range-finding data obtained by a range- finding action while an operation is performed. CONSTITUTION:A focusing lock button 12 performs a focusing action based on the range-finding data of the central range-finding area FAc out of the range-finding data obtained by performing range-finding at three points. A photographing mode(central range-finding mode) is for picture-taking by performing range-finding at one central point, and picture-taking is performed in a state where it has priority over an ordinary photographing mode or a special photographing mode. When the operating state of the button 12 is kept, the range-finding data is held and a focusing lock function is actuated. Thus, focusing lock photographing is performed with simple operation. |
