PURPOSE:To enable formation of excellent images stable without fogging over a long period by using a developer composed with a specific carrier. CONSTITUTION:The surface of core material particles of ferrite is coated with resin as a carrier to form a developer. The composition is made by satisfying the formula I, where (x): is the spherical degree of core material particles before the application of coating while (y): is the spherical degree of carrier after the coating process, and making the concentration of Fe<3+> a value in 0.35-1.00ppm. With this constitution, it is possible to form excellent images with stable image density and without fogging over a long period. |
