PURPOSE:To set the word length, of data at the time of output to be different from that of data at the time of input, to speed up the exchange of data and to improve the processing speed of a whole system by writing data in the direction of a row for respective words at the time of writing and reading it as one piece of data for respective rows at the time of reading. CONSTITUTION:At the time of sequentially writing data D1, D2,... in a storage area 10, respective pieces of data are sequentially written in the direction of the row after previous data. For reading data D1, D2,... from the storage area 10, data groups D1-Dm arranged in the lowest row being an output end are collectively read at a time. Thus, the word length of data at the time of outputting can be set to be longer than the word length of data at the time of inputting, and the processing performance of the whole system can be improved. |
