<p>The invention relates to improvements made to electrical measuring transformers. More precisely, the present invention is applicable to single-phase or multi-phase transformers, such as current transformers, which are intended particularly for the measuring, counting, controlling or monitoring module. The single-phase or multi-phase electrical measuring transformer (1) has a primary side (2) and a secondary side (3), comprising at least one winding (5) which is switchable and defines a transformation ratio i1/i2 and consequently its range of application, as well as means (6) for modifying the secondary configuration of the transformer as a function of the application range selected, which produce at least the switching of the winding or windings (5) according to the selected range. Furthermore, these said means (6) comprise means (7-9) for short circuiting at least one portion of the secondary winding during the said modification.</p> |
