1. The driving mechanism for membrane gas meter, especially with synthetic membranes, made up of the crank mechanism containing a crankshaft, at least one crank, two connecting rods, and a motion transmission system, containing two rotation axes and two disk levers transmitting movement from the membrane to the crank mechanism, consisting in that the motion transmission system contains two rigid disks (10I and 10II) of the membrane (9I) and (9II), and at least two elastic elements, optimally vertical axes (7I) and (7II), and in the crank mechanism cranks (4I) and (4II), which are longer than it is necessary to obtain full deflection of the membranes (9I) and (9II), while the length of crankshafts (2I) and (2II) is regulated.<IMAGE>
