The port according to the invention, which is accessible to the public for the recording of work orders relating to printed photographic films, is characterised in that it includes: reading means (10) for reading references specific to the order giver, or customer, and which are presented by the latter; means for creating first data relating to the references of the customer; exterior means (7), accessible to the customer, which are configured to enable the latter to specify the nature of the work to be undertaken; means (9) for creating second data relating to this nature of work; means for insertion of the film into the port by the customer; means (11) for printing and for delivery in order to print and deliver to the customer a receipt (5) bearing notes relating in particular to the first and second data; means (12) for reproducing and affixing on the film (2) a part at least of the said notes; and means (12) for storing successive films (2) inserted into the port. <IMAGE>
