The spindle for a through-flow cock has a cylindrical or bulging section (1) acting as a valve. Two annular grooves each hold a ridge-seal (4) resting against the valve or against the cock spindle. Two parallel ground sections and an axial thread at its operating end. The operating end of the locking part (7) has a bulging shape. A reamed part (5) in an axial line supports part of the smooth end surface (6), and of the convex side surface of the spherical or cylindrical part (7) the base (9) of whcih is curved or flat, with flat sides. ADVANTAGE - The quantity flowing through the cock is increased by a reamed part of the flow duct.
