摘要 A method of reducing or eliminating the dynamic effect on the permanent lining of a mine roadway or other tunnel by the installation of a cushioning or shock absorbing flat sheet. Drainage, leakage detection and sealing are carried out at the same time. The tunnel (2) is protected from shock waves (3) by rock nails or anchors (4) driven into the rock face (1) radially followed by a sprayed concrete liner (5) and the cushioning layer (6). USE/ADVANTAGE - The cushioning layer is not primarily for sealing or drainage through it may be combined with these processes.
