<p>A game medal dispensing machine incorporating therein a medal hopper for releasing a desired number of medals out of medals supplied from a supply source to a medal outlet (1), characterized in that said medal hopper is divided into two units; a reserve hopper (4) disposed on the upstream side and having a sensor (2) for sensing the presence of medals received from the supply source and a send-out means (3) for sending out medals, and a releasing hopper (7) disposed on the downstream side and having a sensor (5) for sensing the presence of medals received from the hopper (4) and a send-out means (6) for sending out medals one after another to the medal outlet (1). Preferably, a display portion (14) capable of displaying dispensability and the number of medals to be released is provided on the front of the machine body and a counting sensor (16) capable of counting medals is provided in a releasing path (15) between the releasing hopper (7) and the medal outlet (1). Further preferably, a sensor (12) capable of sensing the stacking of medals is provided in the vicinity of the medal outlet (1), whereby the sensor (12) determines whether medals are accumulated at the medal outlet (1) for a predetermined period of time or not, and, when the sensor (12) determines that medals are accumulated and the counting sensor (16) counts a predetermined number of medals being released, release of the medals is displayed and take-in of bills is prohibited.</p> |
