<p>The present invention relates to a device permitting overhead electrical feeding of vehicles running on a railway line (12), comprising a flexible cable (2) which is horizontally retractable parallel to the railway line, this cable being mounted at the end of brackets (5, 6, 7) which are mutually parallel and pivoting simultaneously by about a quarter of a revolution. The present invention also relates to an overhead electrical feeding line comprising such a device and, at each end, another suspended cable (10) providing the junction with a catenary line of the grid.
