PURPOSE:To produce a large driving force through a simple constitution by providing an electrostatic pressing means and means for imparting a driving force, required for movement of a moving body, to a piezoelectric element. CONSTITUTION:A shift mode piezoelectric element 2 is mounted on a base 1. An electrostatic pressing means, i.e., a driving circuit 5, is connected between a copper plate 4a of a moving body 4 and a frictional member 3. The driving circuit 5 produces electrostatic force between the moving body 4 and the frictional member 3 with a driving circuit 6 being operated. The electrostatic force causes the moving body 4 to press the frictional member 3. Under a state where the moving body 4 is attracted electrostatically to the frictional member 3 through the driving circuit 5, the driving circuit 6 drives the shift mode piezoelectric element 2. According to the constitution, a large driving force can be achieved through a simpler constitution. |
