Anti-theft device comprising an insertable piece 5, similar to a cassette and provided with elements for insertion and anchoring in the radio-cassette 1 and with a fixing piece formed by a portion 8 for securing to the insertable piece 5 and by fixing means consisting of a rod 6. The device comprises a cover 9 for closing the front face of the radio-cassette 1. In the operating position, the rod 6 is horizontal and parallel to the front face of the radio-cassette 1 and is separated from the portion 8 by a slot 12 intended to receive a rotary bolt 10 for closing the cover 9, in the latter's closure position. The rod 6 has a notch 13 which is adapted in order to receive the bolt 10. The aforesaid fixing piece has in it a hole 15 in which a displaceable wedge 14 is press-fitted, said wedge being adapted in order to prevent undesired upward displacements of the insertable piece 5. <IMAGE>
