PURPOSE:To obtain an Mn-Zn ferrite having improved grain boundary strength without lowering the specific resistance by adding specific amounts of SiO2, CaO and Ta2O5 to the ferrite. CONSTITUTION:A ferrite having a composition of 45-55mol% of Fe2O3, 20-40mol% of MnO and 5-30mol% of ZnO is added with 0.01-0.02wt.% of SiO2, <=0.03wt.% of CaO and 0.05-0.15wt.% of Ta2O5. |
