PURPOSE:To derive the difference of dimensions of plural radiation images with higher accuracy by executing the correction of the dimensions, based on a position relation on the radiation image of marks recorded by three or more each on each of plural radiation images. CONSTITUTION:On almost the whole surface of each stimulable phosphor sheet 5, 7, each X-ray image 4a, 4a' of a body 4 to be photographed is accumulated and recorded, and image 11a, 12a, 13a, 14a; 11a', 12a', 13a', and 14a' of markers 11, 12, 13, and 14 are formed. These are recorded in each corresponding position of the cumulative phosphor sheets 5, 7, and after obtaining an image signal, relative alignment of two X-ray images is executed, based on these marks 11a, 12a, 13a, 14a; 11a', 12a', 13a', and 14a'. That is, based on all these marks, a coefficient of a Helmert's conversion expression is derived by the least squares approximating method, and the Helmert's conversion is executed by using its coefficient, therefore, plural X-ray images can be superposed with higher accuracy, and accordingly, generation of a false image is prevented more surely. |
