<p>PURPOSE:To make it easy to specify a plurality of extension facsimile terminals by comparing destination terminal identification information to be received when a call arrives from a facsimile terminal with extension terminal identification information registered in advance and by determining a destination extension terminal. CONSTITUTION:The present invention relates to a facsimile accumulator and exchange unit that enables a facsimile terminal connected thereto via an ISDN to specify a destination terminal, that compares terminal identification information of destination terminal FA1-FAN, FI1-FIn to be received when a call from a facsimile terminal FD connected thereto arrives via a digital line control section 6 with terminal identification information registered in advance in a memory section 8, and determines a destination facsimile terminal to which received image information is transmitted based on a result of the comparison. With this, a facsimile terminal FA1-FAn connected to the ISDN line can easily specify particular ones of a plurality of extension facsimile terminals FI1-FAn connected to the facsimile accumulation and exchange unit 1, thereby being able to obtaing a facsimile accumulation and exchange unit that can be easily applied to the ISDN line.</p> |
