PURPOSE:To obtain a deep pearl pigment transfer foil by successively forming a pattern layer having gradation, a pearl pigment layer, a foundation colored layer and an adhesive layer on a base body sheet and composing the pattern layer of ink having the dame system color as the foundation colored layer. CONSTITUTION:A plastic film or a mixed film with paper, etc., is used as a base body sheet 1, and the gradation of a pattern layer 2 formed on the sheet 1 is expressed by ink, in which a dye and a pigment having 2mum mean grain size are included in a resin, and the layer 2 is formed by ink having the same system color as the ink of a foundation colored layer 4. A pearl pigment is mixed into a transparent resin in a pearl pigment layer 3 shaped on the layer 2, and a synthetic pearl pigment such as a natural pearl essence and mica powder, etc., are employed as the pearl pigment, and formed by printing. The foundation colored layer 4 formed on the layer 3 is shaped of ink made up of the dye and the pigment having a proper color and the resin, and a heat- sensitive or pressure-sensitive resin proper to the surface of a base material 6 is used as an adhesive layer 5 formed onto the layer 4, and formed by printing. Accordingly, the pattern layer having gradation inhibits the color development of the pearl pigment, thus forming a deep pattern. |
