PURPOSE:To dry the whole of a molded product uniformly even if it has a high dielectric loss factor by convering corner sections and respective sides of the molded product by means of a metal cover when microwaves are emitted to a ceramic molded product forming a rectangular shape in its outer shape. CONSTITUTION:A ceramic molded product 1 is composed of silicon carbide having high dielectric loss factor and its outer shape is rectangular, and the inside is formed entirely in honeycomb shape. Masking jigs 2 and 3 covering corner sections and repective sides are composed of metal, and form a couple of identical shape, left and light. Water absorption packings 4, 5, 6, and 7 covering the outer peripheral face of the molded product is provided with water- absorption properties. When the molded product 1 is dried, the masking jigs 2 and 3 and water-absorption packings 4, 5, 6 and 7 are mounted thereon and placed in an oven 100, and microwaves changed their direction downward vertically by means of a reflection plate 103 is uniformized by an agitation fan 102 and emitted. The whole of molded product can be dried uniformly by the reflection of microwaves generated by means of the metal cover, and also the generation of cracks is prevented by the water retention effect of the water absorption. |
