PURPOSE:To suppress fluctuation in temperature of hot water to be output by shutting OFF a first passage switching valve, shutting OFF a passage from a hot water outlet side to an atmosphere open type hopper, opening a second passage switching valve, and supplying water through a passage from a water inlet side of a heat exchanger for supplying hot water to the hopper. CONSTITUTION:When a procedure of 'adding cold water' is executed in a bathtub to pour water, a first passage switching valve 4 is closed, and a passage from a hot water outlet side to an atmosphere open type hopper 5 is shut OFF. Since a second passage switching valve 9 is opened, chilled water is not passed through a heat exchanger 2 for supplying hot water, but supplied through a passage from the water inlet side of the exchanger 2 to the hopper 5. Thus, even if hot water is output immediately after the procedure of 'adding cold water' is executed, the chilled water is not introduced into the exchanger 2, and hence initiation of heat exchanging operation by the exchanger 2 is quick, and a timing delay is suppressed. Accordingly, a variation in temperature of the hot water to be output is suppressed. |
