PURPOSE:To prepare the title compsn. improved in transparency and hot tack by compounding a specific ethylene/pentene-1 copolymer with an ethylene/vinyl acetate copolymer. CONSTITUTION:95-65 pts.wt. ethylene/pentene-1 copolymer obtd. by copolymerizing ethylene with pentene-1 and having a melt flow rate according to ASTM D 1238E of 0.01-100g/10min, a density according to ASTM D 1505 of 0.87-0.96g/cm<3>, a content of structural units derived from pentene-1 of 1-25 wt.%, and such a ratio (RS) of the impact strength of a 40mu thick film obtd. by casting the copolymer to the tear strength in the direction of film taking out as to satisfy the formula is compounded with 5-35 pts.wt. ethylene/vinyl acetate copolymer to give the title compsn. |
