Plant for the manufacture of prestressed concrete units, especially elongate building units such as posts, beams or similar, according to the main patent, in which each mould unit (38) comprises a core (54) capable of being arranged in parallel to the lengthwise direction of the manufacture area, the said core comprising two opposed vertical faces at least one of which (54b) is provided with a strong forming unit (74b) fitted removably at the rear end (60) of the core, this forming unit consisting of a flat iron which has an outer face which connects to the vertical face of the core and which gradually moves away from the said vertical face in the direction of the rear end of the core. The plant makes it possible to manufacture units such as posts or the like of rectangular or square section. <IMAGE>
