PURPOSE:To make it possible to recognize even a dotted line intersecting another line segment and to recognize the thickness of the dotted line by checking the distance between centers of adjacent dots of an extracted dotted line and the width of the extracted dotted line. CONSTITUTION:An input section 1 inputs a binary coded image, a pattern vector generating section 2 generates a pattern vector from the binary coded image, and a cord wire processing section 3 treats the generated pattern vector for core wire processing. Further, a line.curve extracting section 4 extracts a line and curve from core wire data, a dotted line candidate extracting section 5 extracts a pattern vector other than curve to extract dotted line candidate, and a link generating section 6 generates a link relation to the dotted line that became a dotted line candidate. Furthermore, a dotted line extracting section 7 extracts a dotted line from the link relation, a check section 8 checks the dotted line for the distance between centers of adjacent dots and the core width. As a result, even a three-dotted line that intersects another line segment can be recognized, and also the thickness of dotted line can be recognized. |
