<p>PURPOSE:To obtain a compact an low-cost terminal structure of a ballast for a discharge lamp by forming a terminal metal having a folding member part of which is folded diagonally down to a vertical surface, with the other part of the folding member to face diagonally with a horizontal part, and covering the terminal metal with a terminal cover having connection wire insertion holes and a connection releasing hole. CONSTITUTION:The forward end of a horizontal part 102 extended from a connection part 101 of a coil extension wire 2 of a terminal metal 1 is folded almost perpendicularly to form a vertical surface 103, the forward end of the vertical surface 103 is folded diagonally toward the horizontal surface 102, part of a folding member 104 is folded diagonally down to the vertical surface 103, the forward end of a folding member 105 is applied to the vertical surface 103, and a part 106 of the folding member 105 which is not folded is applied diagonally facing the horizontal part 102. This terminal metal 1 is covered with a terminal cover 3 having positioning holes 31 for inserting external connection wires, and a connection releasing hole 33.</p> |
