PURPOSE:To impart resistance against TNF and/or anti-Fas antibody to mammalian cells having sensibility to the cytotoxicity of the TNF and/or the anti-Fas antibody by introducing a specific genetic region into the mammalian cells. CONSTITUTION:A genetic region coding the 19kd protein of an adenovirus early gene Elb is introduced into mammalian cells having sensibility to the cytotoxicity of TNF and/or anti-Fas antibody. Thus, the 19kd protein of the adenovirus early gene Ebb is expressed in the objective cells.
