PURPOSE:To damp vibration to contribute to vibration isolation of apparatuses such as a body of rotation, etc., by forming a hollow part in the inside of an elastic body provided with a supporting face and a loading face, and packing the hollow part with sand. CONSTITUTION:A vibration isolating-supporting device 1 consists of a bowl-like body 2 made up of NBR rubber, and a cover body 3 provided with a button- shaped projection 31, and the cover body 2 is integrally bonded to the bowl-like body 2 so that it covers the upper part of the bowl-like body. Besides, it is desired that particle-size of the sand 5 to be packed is uniform, and the sand is wear resistant to the extent that it cannot be easily pulverized by mutual collisionand contact of particles, and the sand is tightly packed. Even when the device is used as the leg of a washing machine, the button-shaped projection 31 is fitted into the hole 6 of a bottom plate A'. Even when the washing machine is vibrated and its vibration is transmitted to the bottom plate A', the vibration transmitted to, the floor B on which the device is locted, is minimized, since the vibration isolating-supporting device 1 on the floor B consumes vibrating energy as frictional energy between particles in its inside. Thus, the vibration of the floor is minimized, and thus the generation of noise is reduced. |
