<p>PURPOSE:To obtain a wide space behind an engine by allowing two cylinders positioned on the left and right outsides and two cylinders close to the center to communicate to each other carburetor through an intake pipe and positioning two carburetors before and behind the center part in the car width direction. CONSTITUTION:One intake pipe 15 communicates to the first cylinder 8 and the fourth cylinder 11 which are positioned on the left and right outsides of an engine 2, and the other intake pipe 16 communicates to the second and third cylinders 9 and 10 which are close to the center of the engine 2. Further, the intake pipes 15 and 16 are formed in lateral symmetry, and each pair of intake passages 15a, 15b and 16a, 16b have an equal length. Further, the intake pipes 15 and 16 are inclined in the vertical direction with each different inclination angle so that the connection part of the carburetors 13 and 14 deflects in the longitudinal direction, in the installed state onto the engine 2. Accordingly, the carburetor 13 connected with the intake pipe 15 is positioned aslantly upward on the front side from the carburetor 14 connected with the intake pipe 16. The carburetors 13 and 14 are arranged at the nearly center position in the car width direction of the car body.</p> |
