PURPOSE:To transmit a high-precision facsimile picture while increasing recording density of a microfilm used directly as a transmitting original, by detecting transmitted light of the microfilm successively by a solid-state image pickup element fixed at the driving part of an XY driver. CONSTITUTION:Microfilm 3 is used as a transmitted original and the transmitted light of film 3 is projected upon solid image pickup element 5 of XY recorder 6 used as an XY driver through optical image enlarging means 1 and 2. While pulse generator 12 is connected to this image pickup element 5, the series circuit of sampling circuit 13 and waveform shaping circuit 8 is also connected and the output of this circuit 8 is connected to modulator 9. With a signal from generator 12, the outputs of image pickup element 5 are detected successively, and a facsimile picture signal is obtained through sampling and waveform shaping and inputted to modulator 9, where it is modulated by a carrier from oscillator 10, thereby transmitting the high- precision picture information. |
