<p>PURPOSE:To display deviation values in the diameter dimensions continuously measured on one screen in the lump for a specified length, by arranging a diameter measuring device for continuously generating diameter dimension deviation signals and a display controller for indicating the dimension deviation value on the Y co-ordinate and the real time on the X co-ordinate. CONSTITUTION:A projection type diameter measuring device 1 rotates continuously about a bar steel 5. The shadow of the bar steel 5 due to parallel light beams projected from a projector 6 form an image on a light receiving element array 7 through an optical unit. A slip ring 8 provides the projector 6 with power and a measuring voltage to the light receiving element unit 7 to obtain a measuring data (diameter dimension deviation signal) from an image reading processor of the unit 7 and the data is sent to display controller 3. The diameter dimensions deviation signal is outputted to the Y co-ordinate of a display 4 while swept in the X axis to be displayed real time on the X co-ordinate. The screen of the display 4 shows the diameter dimension deviation value in a fixed length of the bar steel continuously by four stages in lump. Thus, the profile of the bar steel can be determined as a whole thereby enabling necessary rolling adjustment immediately.</p> |
