The apparatus for preventing double sheet feeding got rid of the static electricity between sheets in the sheet storage cassette when the sheets is conveyed by feeding roller (25). The cassette apparatus is for feeding recording sheets singly to a copying machine. A sheet storage cassette stores the recording sheets and a conveyance roller conveys the recording sheets from the sheet storage cassette to a feeding roller. The feeding roller feeds the recording sheets conveyed from the sheet storage cassette to copying machine. The apparatus comprises the electroconductive cover (13) combined under a hale (12) of cassette body (11), a spring for pushing sheet supporter (14) mounted in cassette to the upper parts, an electroconductive terminal (16) for applying the static electricity through the supporter (14) and spring (15).
