PURPOSE:To prevent a malfunction by closely sealing and connecting an interval between a supporting member for supporting by hanging a floating member in a residual toner recovery box and the floating member by a film all around the periphery. CONSTITUTION:The interval between the supporting member 51 for supporting by hanging the floating member 49 in the residual toner recovery box 31 and the floating member 49 is closely sealed and connected by the film 52 all over the periphery. Consequently, the periphery of a rising member 50 is completely isolated from toner recovered in the residual toner recovery box 31 by the film 52. Thus, the recovered toner does not influence a means for measuring the height of the rising member 50 and does not make it malfunction, and the recovered toner does not gather on the upper surface of the floating member 49, so that the malfunction that fullness can not be detected though the box is full, which occurs because the member 49 is prevented from floating, is eliminated. |
