PURPOSE:To avoid the mixture of color between respective signals during transfer and to pick up three primary signals separtely, by supplying a signal charge from a plurality of transfer registers to a plurality of output transfer registers, and transferring it individually to a different direction from the direction of the charge transfer registers. CONSTITUTION:A plurality of photodetectors 11-1n, 21-2n, 31-3n, per one column arranged to a given direction, are provided by a plurality of rows, and signal charges picked up from the elements are fed to transfer registers 4-6, allowing to transfer them respectively to a constant direction. The signal charges picked up from the registers 4-6 are individually stored in columns a1, a2, a3 of the output transfer registers 8-10, and the signal charges are transferred and output toward the columns W1, W2, W3. Further, the signal charges are individually transferred with output registers 8-10 to avoid the mixture of colors among the signals, allowing to pick up the three primary signals with high purity. |
