<p>Catalyst esp. for polymerisation of ethylene opt. with up to 10% wt. 3-6 C alpha-olefin using hydrogen as mol. wt. regulator consists of (I) the reaction prod. of (a) 0.1 - 10 moles chlorinated cpd. of trivalent Ti, pref. TiCl3, and (b) 1 mole (expressed as Ti) of the reaction prod. of a solid cpd. contg. a divalent metal e.g. Mg, Ca, Cr, Mn, Fe, Ni, Co, Cu, Zn or Cd, and a chlorinated cpd. of tetravalent Ti prepd. in the presence or absence of aluminium alcholates, and (Ii) a trialkylaluminium contg. 1-16, pref. 2-12 C atoms per alkyl gp. and/or the reaction prod. of a trialkylaluminium and/or alkylaluminium hydride contg. 1-16 pref. 2-12 C atoms per alkyl gp. with a 4-20 C diolefin, pref. isoprene.</p> |
