PURPOSE:To take up metallic strips which are different in thickness, width and length respectively by making a first fluid cylinder connected to a push shaft in a tension drive source different in tension from a second fluid cylinder connected to the piston of the aforesaid cylinder. CONSTITUTION:A tension drive source 24 is made up out of a first fluid cylinder 40 connected to a push shaft 22, and of a second fluid cylinder 44 connected to the piston of the fluid cylinder 40, and each of the first and second fluid cylinders 40 and 44 is provided with a different tension force. When these fluid cylinders 40 and 44 are selectively driven, the wide range of pressure area can be secured. This thereby enables metallic strips which are different in thickness, width and length respectively, to be taken up onto a take-up shaft 14. |
