<p>PURPOSE:To accurately recognize the service life of a battery by calculating the predictive service life from time exchanging the battery of the IC card, storing it and updating this predictive service life when any outside power source is used. CONSTITUTION:When an IC card 100 is inserted to the IC card driving device and a battery 102 is exchanged, the IC card driving device inputs battery exchange information from a battery exchange recognition part 105, a timer part detects the time executing this exchange, and the next battery exchange time is calculated by adding the predictive service life of the exchanged battery to this detected time and stored in a memory 101 of the IC card 100. When the IC card 100 is inserted to the IC card driving device, power supply is switched to the power source of the IC card driving device, and next battery exchange time information is updated corresponding to the time of electrification. Thus, the service life of the battery 102 in the IC card 100 can be exactly recognized.</p> |
