PURPOSE:To obtain the device which is simple in construction and excellent in portability and can make a rapid and sure sterilization operation by subjecting a connector to heating and sterilizing in a dry space. CONSTITUTION:The coupled connector A is housed in a sterilizing and housing chamber 12. A transfusion tube B is similarly housed in a housing part 16. An opening/closing cap 13 is closed by holding a gripping part 15 and the rotated gripping part 15 is fitted into a recessed part 18. The cap 13 is held locked while the cap is closed and a switch 17 is turned on. DC, AC or impulsive electric energy is supplied to a heating means 11 from a power source section 14 and the heating means 11 generates heat. The heating means 11 heats the connector A and the sterilizing (pasteurization) operation is carried out. The switch 17 is turned off upon lapse of the prescribed time and the fitting of the recessed part 18 and the gripping part 15 is released after a cooling period. The sterilized connector A is then taken out of the sterilizing and housing chamber 12. |
